Dr. Alexander Rios, Medical Director
Dr. Alexander Rios has joined Valley Urgent Care and Wellness in Dickson City, PA, as the Medical Director of the Wellness Division. Originally from Jersey City, NJ, Dr. Rios brings extensive expertise from his academic and professional journey, which includes a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. With over six years of dedicated service in Pennsylvania and extensive experience in emergency medicine across multiple states, Dr. Rios is renowned for his compassionate patient care. His interest in aesthetic medicine, stemming from his trauma work, led him to found True Bliss Medical Aesthetic and Wellness Center, where he specializes in personalized anti-aging and aesthetic treatments. Tammy Derenick, Nurse Injector
Tammy, a lifetime NEPA native, started her healthcare journey caring for others as a Certified Nurses Aide 20 years ago. She advanced her skills after completing Nursing School at Lackawanna College. Tammy is a Registered Nurse, specializing in emergency medicine, dedicated to compassion and care of her patients. Along her journey, she discovered a passion for aesthetics and furthered her education by devoting her time traveling to New Jersey for hands-on training with our wellness director Dr. Alexander Rios. Tammy furthered her education getting certifications and extensive training for neurotoxin and filler injections, laser hair removal and other laser facial and body services. Tammy now combines her medical background with her specialized aesthetic skills to help you achieve all of your aesthetic skin care needs and rejuvenate your natural beauty.
